Is Nyamatusi Mahogany good for families?
Yes, more so than most Mana camps. The operator's own site says children of all ages are welcome, with flexible mealtimes, a child-friendly menu and a kids' programme called Ngwana Club, though walking safaris and canoeing are kept to ages 16 and over. The park record instead states a minimum age of 7, so check the current policy when you book.
What activities can children do at Nyamatusi Mahogany?
Younger children can join game drives, birding and fishing with the family, but the camp's own site reserves walking safaris and canoe trips for guests aged 16 and over. Every suite has its own private plunge pool, so there is plenty to do without leaving camp.
